Lew and I have not worked with Sandy during her years as a wonderful, conscientious teacher.
I do know that when Sandy and I meet for a lunch in Los Gatos a past student always comes up to her
and says hello. They always, and I mean always, look so pleased to see her again.
We have been family friends. Through our years of friendship it has been very obvious the care,
concern, and additional education Sandy has taken to do her best for her students. She puts the same
effort into her friendships. Lucky us!

Dear Sandy,
How many hours have we talked away? How many times have we been there for
one another? There is so much about you that I can recall ………….
You are a very special friend who is always available to help everyone.
You are a great listener - you comment when necessary or just listen.
You always go the extra mile for your students, family and friends.
You give so much of yourself and expect little if
for more from Dick and Lynne
Dear Sandy,
On your retirement:
Dream what you want to dream;
go where you want to go;
be what you want to be,
and enjoy each day.
Hugs,
Lynne and Dick
Congratulations Sandy! Enjoy your retirement, but be prepared to miss the children.
I’ve known Sandy since she first came to the district and as I recall, taught at Berry School.
Unfortunately, we didn’t teach at the same level but we did serve together on committees and her smile,
wit, and cooperation were always present. Especially her “End of Year” presentations(!), which she did
wherever she was teaching. I hope they’ve been saved for posterity! You’ll leave a large void for your
colleagues.
Good Luck,
Cricket Baker
