Yes, it's true. Sandy Louthian has left the building!
For Sandy, school let out forever on Thursday, June 12, 2008. Together, her friends, colleagues,
students, and parents of students have created this website to send her off with many well deserved
good wishes.
As most of you know, Sandy's elementary teaching career began in 1969 in the Los Gatos Union School
District, and has spanned four decades . . . all with the same district.
While teaching every grade level from second through eighth, Sandy has been a friend and mentor
to hundreds of district alumni. She has been a teacher, counselor and confidant to literally thousands
of students and their parents.
We all want to sincerely thank Sandy for her years of caring, and to congratulate her on a truly
meaningful career that has touched the lives of so many in our community.
Sandy, we hope the smile you have sent out to all of us has now returned to you.
We want everyone who knows Sandy to have the opportunity to share their well wishes.
