Congratulations!
Sandy, you will love every minute of your retirement.
I have always had great respect for you and I wish you the very best!

Sandy,
I only wish we had worked together at the same site for a longer time. When we were at the same site
I enjoyed our working together to develop a great middle school program for the incoming sixth graders.
There were ups and downs during those years and we all learned a great deal. But the bottom line was,
our program was solid even if not recognized fully. I hope you have an easier time retiring than I did.
You deserve it!
Mr. Weird, (as the kids used to call me!)
What can I say about my extra special friend Sandy? So much!
It has been an absolute pleasure to work at Daves together. Sandy, you have always been a ray of
sunshine in my life. I knew that I could come to you for advice or just to check in and chat. I respect
you as a teacher and friend. I think I may be in denial that you are leaving because I cannot imagine the
halls of Daves Avenue without your fun personality and smile. While I know you are going to be enjoying
the retired life, take a moment to think about all the lives you have touched in your career.
Wow! That is such an accomplishment!
But now, the future is yours. Enjoy sleeping in, going to bed extra late, having that extra cup of coffee,
reading more books, gardening ALL day!, taking as many trips as you want...at anytime of the year
(I suggest you go in September, so that you can smile while looking at the beautiful sunset and thinking
of us starting school the next day. ha ha), talking with friends, and most importantly having time
to yourself and with your special family. You deserve only the best my friend and while you will be greatly
missed, good for you! This is a wonderful time. Look back with pride on your career and relax and
enjoy your future. YOU DESERVE IT!
Much Love,
Julie Ludeman
