Since you're "Out the gate in 2008", here's a flashback in your honor, Sandy: We have 30 plus years of wonderful memories and history with you and Russ. Berry School began it all. I met you, Sandy, a top-notch teacher. Your entire career you always gave 110% to all your students, parents, peers, and profession. This doesn't include all your superior teaching skills, people skills, leadership skills, and positive personality needed to accomplish a single teaching day. While still at Berry, our sons provided us with another common bond and our friendship began to blossom. Our twosome evolved into a foursome. Eventually, soccer and cub scouts became items listed on our calendars and the foursome became a sixsome with Tommy and Russ joining the ranks. It was so nice having you two good friends to chat with as Tim and Jeremy were growing up. When Jeremy and Tim went to college, our sixsome became a foursome once again. "Field trips" became an operative word for the four of us. We managed to squeeze in many unforgetable short and longer trips in between family and job commitments. Sandy, you can look back on a stellar teaching career and be very proud of what you've accomplished with children and professionally. Enjoy a well deserved retirement and have fun inventing your personal lesson plan. Here's to 30 plus more years of memories and friendship. Love and Happy Retirement, |
