Hi Sandy,

I just want to wish you a very happy and relaxing retirement. No more getting up early or staying up late grading papers.  Now you will be able to get up early and stay up late doing something for yourself.
I just know when you get your two new puppies they will take a lot of your time but it will be time with lots of love in return.
I want to thank you for all the great years we had together at Fisher. They were very special years!  You made me feel so welcome and comfortable.  You have such a special way of giving love and guidance.  It sure made my time at Fisher easier.  It was harder to come in everyday after you moved over to Davis Avenue.
We spent so many fun times together at Fisher, laughing over silly little things and crying over some hard times that it brought us very close to each other.  I feel that we are like family.
I have always enjoyed so much receiving one of your cute rhyming notes they would make me smile for days. I know how much everyone looked forward to getting something written by our top pun!
I look forward to all of the times we will be able to get together still.  I love you so much and your continued friendship means so much to me.
I know how much you will be missed at Davis because you are one of the rare teachers that gives so much of themselves to both students and staff.
Best of luck in everything you do in the future.  I know it will be filled with  many happy days for you, Russ and your two new children.

        Now when the clock rings.
You can do your own things.

        Playing with the puppies
or just having tea and cookies.

I know you won't be sorry that you retired.
Just sit back and think of how much you are admired!

Well this was my 3 A.M. attempt at a pun.  All I can say is I tried and only for you!

                                                         Love always Marian
